Combination considerations for multiple load cells
Release time: 2014-05-12

mong the sensors, the mechanical sensor is one of the most common sensors. Perhaps the less common one is the use of a single load cell, and the most common is the combination of multiple load cells.

In the electronic scale consisting of multiple sensors, in addition to the reasonable selection of the load and proper installation of the load cell, it should also be noted that:

1. Fixed pillars and jack brackets should be installed on both sides of each load cell. The height of the fixed strut should be slightly lower than the sensor height by 3mm to 4mm, so that when the sensor needs to be replaced or maintained, the jack body is jacked up by the jack, and then the appropriate thickness of the horn is inserted into the fixed strut to disengage the sensor from the bracket by 4mm. Up to 5mm, as a temporary support, on the other hand, when the scale is overloaded, it acts as a protection sensor.

2. In order to prevent the scale body from causing horizontal movement due to impact or the like, an appropriate stopper should be installed according to the structure of the scale body. The limiter should not be applied with any force in the vertical direction, but it can offset the various horizontal forces acting on the scale.

3. The load cell must be installed on a horizontal surface and must be level when there is a load to prevent damage to the sensor due to uneven load distribution due to tilting.

The most important installation problem of multiple load cell combinations is the most important thing to note. Since the load cell installation directly affects the accuracy and service life of the load cell, inaccurate installation will not only lead to measurement errors, but also long-term error use. The method must result in a qualitative change in the use of the sensor.
