The weight transmitter is actually a weighing instrument, but it just converts the weight signal into an industrial signal. It is actually a converter. And we often encounter some difficult problems during the installation and commissioning of the weight transmitter.

1, the transmitter has no output

(1) Check if the transmitter power supply is reversed. If the power supply polarity is correct, it can be used.

(2) If it is not the power supply of the measuring transmitter, whether there is 24V DC voltage; the power supply voltage to the transmitter must be ≥12V.

(3) If it is with a meter, check whether the meter head is damaged. If the meter head is damaged, you need to change the meter head.

(4) Or connect the ammeter into the 24V power supply circuit to check whether the current is normal; if it is normal, the transmitter is normal. At this time, check whether other instruments in the circuit are normal.

(5) Whether the power supply is connected to the transmitter power input terminal; connect the power cable to the power supply terminal.

2, the transmitter output ≥ 20mA

(1) Whether the transmitter power supply is normal. If it is less than 12VDC, check if there is a large load in the loop.

(2) Whether the actual pressure exceeds the selected range of the weight transmitter, and re-select the weight transmitter of the appropriate range.

(3) Whether the pressure sensor is damaged or not, the severe overload sometimes damages the isolation diaphragm. Need to be sent back to the manufacturer for repair.

(4) If the wiring is loose, connect the wire and tighten it.

(5) If the power cable is wired correctly, the power cable should be connected to the corresponding terminal.
